Privacy policy
Applies to: Microsoft Store build, portable build · Last updated: October 23, 2026
1. Data collection
BullBull Unpacker does not collect or upload personal data. The app contains no account system, telemetry, usage statistics, crash reports, advertising or analytics SDK.
2. Data processing
File detection, nested archive handling and password attempts all run on your machine and involve no cloud service operated by the publisher.
3. Local data
The app stores the data it needs to run on your machine, including:
- Password book: records passwords that have worked, so later extractions can try them.
- Configuration files: app settings such as scan scope and password attempt thread count.
- Run logs: records of extraction jobs and related runtime information, which may contain passwords and local file paths.
This data lives in the app's data directory and is managed by you. The password book is stored in plain text, and logs may contain sensitive information. Handle these files with care, especially before sharing or uploading them.
4. Network access
The app does not make network requests, check for updates automatically or retrieve configuration from remote servers.
The Microsoft Store and GitHub items in the app open in your system browser only when you click them. For the Microsoft Store build, installation and updates are handled by the Microsoft Store client and are not the app's own network activity.
5. Third-party components
The app bundles third-party extraction components such as UnRAR and 7-Zip ZS for local file processing. See the third-party notices for the names, purposes and licenses of these components.
6. Retention and deletion
The publisher does not receive or store user data produced by the app, so there is no server-side retention or deletion of such data.
Local data is managed by you. To clear it, open the data directory from the entry point the app provides and delete the files you want to remove. Deleting these files may affect app functionality or permanently remove the associated records.
7. Children's privacy
The app is not directed at children and does not collect personal data.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the last-updated date at the top. Material changes to the way data is collected, processed or accessed over the network will be explained on this page.
